misician does not require an account and does not collect personal information. When you check a playlist, the Spotify playlist URL you enter is used to fetch the track list and is not stored. We log aggregate usage events (e.g. "a playlist was checked", "an artist page was viewed") without any identifier that could be tied to you.

Cookies and advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads.

Third-party services

misician uses Tavily for web search and Groq for AI analysis. These services process artist names and search queries. No personally identifying information is sent to them. Artist research results are cached in our database to minimise repeated queries.

Data retention

Cached artist research is retained for up to 30 days, after which it is refreshed. Anonymous usage event logs may be retained indefinitely for product analytics.

All artist research on misician is generated automatically by AI models from public web sources. Results may contain errors, outdated information, or misidentifications — particularly for artists whose names are shared with other public figures.
