In February 2021, Evan Rachel Wood and at least four other women publicly accused Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) of sexual, physical and psychological abuse. Wood alleged he 'groomed me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.' Manson denied all allegations. His California criminal charges were dropped in January 2025, though the civil cases continued. He settled a defamation suit against Wood by paying her $327,000 in legal fees.
